The customer needed a reliable solution to lift, grip, rotate and transport reels from pallet storage areas to a processing and packaging line. Existing handling methods presented challenges when managing longer and wider rolls with a larger core diameter.
Packline developed a bespoke reel handling solution incorporating a wider 6-inch vertical spindle attachment and fully motorised functionality to improve safety, control and operational efficiency.
