The Tote Bin Lift Attachment was designed in response to a customer requirement in the fisheries industry to handle tote bins specifically designed to store and transport fish, minimising manual handling.
The rotating tote attachment enables operators to lift and stack the tote bins as well as transport the trays or totes within the processing area.
The attachment arms grip the totes via grooves on the bins. Two lock pins at the front of the attachment arms hold the tote bin in place to ensure that the bin cannot be dislodged whilst being handled.
The attachment mechanism features a gearbox assisted rotation function to enable the operator to tip and unload the contents as required for processing. Index plungers retain the bin in place during rotation. The rotation function is achieved by means of a geared hand-wheel.
With a lifting capacity from 29kg up to 60kg, the tote bin lifting attachment can pick up single or multiple bins from a stack. Higher lift capacities are available depending on requirements.
The raising and lowering actions of the attachment are made by a battery powered mechanism which is operated by ‘up and down’ buttons that are located ergonomically on the machine’s handlebars. Remote control or joystick control options are also available.
This lifter is suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications.
The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service ensuring the right solution can be made to suit most applications and requirements.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
