The Solid Single Spindle Attachment with Rollers and Retaining Stop is a stainless-steel solution designed for the safe and efficient handling of tool dies in hygienic production environments, such as the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Originally developed for the waffle-making process, this robust spindle lifter enables operators to remove, transfer, and clean waffle press tooling dies with ease. The spindle boom passes smoothly through the die’s central core, supported by rollers that allow for effortless transfer from the press to the attachment.
A safety retaining pin securely locks the die tools in place, preventing displacement during lifting and transport. Once removed, the dies can be transferred directly to the wash station, where they can be cleaned in situ on the spindle boom. Both the lifting machine and attachment are rated IP65, ensuring full compatibility with high-pressure washdown environments.
The attachment operates via a battery-powered lift mechanism, controlled by ergonomic “up and down” buttons on the machine’s handlebars for easy and precise handling.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be quickly connected or removed using the Compac lifter’s quick-release system. A bespoke design service is available to adapt the spindle attachment to meet specific handling requirements.
