Originally designed in response to a customer enquiry within the food industry, this bespoke attachment is ideal for applications where restricted access or confined spaces make traditional roll handling difficult.
Innovative Hinged Design for Confined Spaces
The unique hinged mechanism allows the vertical spindle to pivot left or right, enabling sideways loading onto packaging machinery where space is limited. Instead of repositioning the entire lifting machine, the operator can simply swing the spindle 90° to either side using the manual hinged indexing system. During transport, the spindle locks securely in the central position via a pin stop release mechanism, ensuring stability and safety.
Precise and Safe Manual Handling
This roll handling attachment features manual rotation and gripping with powered lift and lower functions for smooth and controlled operation.
Ergonomically designed handles make it easy to rotate the roll between vertical and horizontal orientations, while a handwheel control provides safe and accurate gripping through the roll’s core. A built-in torque limiter prevents over- or under-tightening, protecting both the roll and the equipment and ensuring operator confidence during handling.
