The Powered Drive ‘Compac’ Lifter has been designed to provide precision manoeuvrability of the Roll Lifting Machine with both forward and reverse drive. The powered drive capability enables the operator to easily transport and move the lifting truck without any effort required.
The Powered Drive Unit is interchangeable and can be fitted or removed from most models of the Packline ‘Compac’ lifting machine, as required.
The powered drive ‘Compac’ is preferred over the manual propulsion model when the items being lifted need to be transported over greater distances or if there is a requirement is to completely remove any operator manual effort.
This lifting solution is suitable for clean room and high care environments, such as pharmaceutical and food processing.
The powered drive ‘Compac’ can be fitted with any attachment from the Packline range, or bespoke attachments if required.
The model shown is fitted with a Vertical Spindle attachment to suit the lifting and rotation of reels of film or foil which have a core diameter of 152mm (6”) or 76mm (3”).
The Vertical Spindle Attachment is fully motorised. This feature provides power for both the reel gripping and release as well as the reel rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations. The control of these motors is made via a hand-held ‘pendant’ which provides easy operation and precise control.
The reels are securely gripped by the core. This mechanism has a torque limiter fitted so that the clamping fingers do not over or under tighten in the core. This enables the operator to lift and transport the reels with complete confidence and safety.
In addition, there is the option for a wide leg configuration to straddle around the pallet. The wider legs also enable the reels to be easily lowered to the floor.
The equipment is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most reels.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ that is fitted with the quick release system.
