Free Standing Overhead Bridge Crane Systems

Packline’s Free Standing Overhead Bridge Crane Systems provide a safe, efficient and highly customisable solution for lifting and moving heavy loads within manufacturing, production and industrial environments. Available as standard or bespoke systems, each overhead crane can be configured around your existing machinery, production lines and factory layout to maximise working space while minimising the system footprint.

With lifting capacities from 1 to 3 tonnes SWL as standard and up to 5 tonnes on request, Packline bridge cranes are available with manual or fully powered travel options. Systems above 500kg SWL are fully powered as standard and supplied with high-quality Delta electric chain hoists.

Designed for smooth, precise load handling, powered systems incorporate Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) long-shop travel, soft-start and dual-speed control, together with anti-swing technology to reduce load movement. Wireless control is standard on fully powered systems, allowing operators to remain clear of the load path while maintaining precise control of crane movements.

A unique shortened end-carriage design maximises available crane travel, while billet-machined wheel cartridges, adjustable reaction rollers and anti-jump arrestors provide smooth operation, durability, straightforward servicing and enhanced safety.

Bridge spans of up to 8.5 metres and heights of up to 5 metres are available as standard, with unlimited long-shop runway lengths and bespoke configurations available for more demanding applications.
