Handyman Vacuum Lifter Overview

The Handyman Vacuum Lifter from Packline provides a practical and reliable solution for repeatedly lifting and accurately positioning a wide range of materials. Designed for efficiency and operator safety, the Handyman vacuum lifting system is ideal for handling plastics, metals, sheet materials, stone slabs and other flat or non-porous loads in industrial environments.

Designed to be suspended from existing overhead handling equipment, the Handyman can be easily integrated with overhead crane systems, chain hoists or similar lifting devices. This makes them a flexible and cost-effective vacuum lifting solution for manufacturing, fabrication, construction and production environments.

The Handyman Vacuum Lifter can handle loads of up to 160 kg (352 lbs), while the Combat Vacuum Lifter is designed for heavier-duty applications with a lifting capacity of up to 500 kg (1100 lbs). These battery-powered lifting systems offer excellent mobility and ease of use, allowing operators to safely lift and manoeuvre heavy materials with precision.

Safe and Simple Vacuum Lifting Operation

The Handyman and Combat vacuum lifters are designed for straightforward operation and reliable load handling. Typically suspended from a chain hoist, the systems enable operators to lift and position materials accurately while reducing manual handling risks.

Both models include:

  • Battery-powered vacuum lifting system
  • Integrated battery charger for convenient overnight charging
  • Acoustic and visual alarms to confirm a secure vacuum seal
  • Robust construction for industrial use

Interchangeable Vacuum Pads for Versatile Handling

A wide range of vacuum suction pads is available, allowing the system to be adapted to different materials and load sizes. Pads can be easily attached by screwing them onto the bottom of the vacuum tank, providing quick and versatile configuration for different lifting applications.

Example vacuum pads include:

  • Round pad – 300 mm (12 in) diameter with 155 kg (341 lbs) lifting capacity
  • Rectangular pad – 200 mm × 300 mm (8 in × 12 in) with 110 kg (242 lbs) lifting capacity
  • Narrow rectangular pad – 80 mm × 800 mm (3 in × 31.5 in) with 100 kg (220 lbs) lifting capacity
  • Additional pad sizes and configurations available for specialist applications

Optional Extension Handles for Improved Ergonomics

To improve operator comfort and safety, single and double extension handles are available. These allow operators to control the vacuum lifter without excessive reaching, improving ergonomics and enabling safer handling of large or awkward loads.

Reliable Vacuum Lifting for Industrial Applications

With its durable construction, interchangeable suction pads and flexible installation options, the Handyman Vacuum Lifter provides a reliable vacuum lifting solution for a wide range of industries. The system helps improve handling efficiency, reduce manual lifting and enhance workplace safety when handling sheet materials, panels and other heavy loads.
