Handling Electronic Assemblies Overview

The Bespoke Stainless Clamp Attachment was designed in response to a customer enquiry in the technology industry to handle electronics module assemblies.

The bespoke clamp attachment provides an assembly aid to allow engineers to add electrical components in the assembly module.

The clamp attachment picks up the module and rotates it for assembly purposes.

Long gripping clamp arms lined with nitrile rubber pads along the length of the clamp arms ensure a secure a hold on the electronics assembly.

This lifting solution offers geared rotation and a manual gripping mechanism with electric lift and lower functions. Fully powered clamping and rotation options are available if required.

The geared rotation clamp attachment has a gearbox with manual hand-wheel for the rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations.  A further hand-wheel provides the clamp gripping and release action.

This mechanism has a torque limiter fitted so that the clamping arms do not over or under tighten the fragile electronic components causing damage to the assembly.

The raising and lowering actions of the clamp attachment are made by a battery powered mechanism which is operated by simple ‘up and down’ buttons that are located ergonomically on the machine’s handlebars.

This lifter is suitable for clean room environments and hygienic applications.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service ensuring the right solution can be made to suit most applications and requirements.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine.
