Handling Component Assemblies Overview

This Bespoke Stainless Rotating Cradle Attachment was designed in response to customer enquiries in the marine and aerospace industries to handle components and assist in their assembly, to minimise operator manual handling.

The bespoke cradle attachment provides an assembly aid to allow engineers to assemble the electrical components in the module.

The electrical modules are placed in the cradle attachment where the load can be rotated from the horizontal to the vertical positions as well as forward tipping.

This lifting solution offers gearbox assisted rotation from horizontal to vertical and forward tipping to enable the engineers to gain full access to the modules. Powered rotation and forward tipping is also available as an option.

The cradle attachment has a gearbox with manual hand-wheels for the rotation and forward tipping mechanisms.

The raising and lowering actions of the clamp attachment are made by a battery powered mechanism which is operated by simple ‘up and down’ buttons that are located ergonomically on the machine’s handlebars.

This lifter is suitable for clean room environments and hygienic applications.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service ensuring the right solution can be made to suit most applications and requirements.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
