Designed for the manufacturing engineering industry, the clamping and rotating attachment for heavy tooling enables the operator to slide the tooling from a storage trolley onto the attachment in the horizontal orientation. The tooling is firmly clamped into place with both horizontal and vertical geared clamping mechanisms by means of a hand-wheel.
The tooling can be rotated to the vertical position to enable the operator to add parts to the tooling. The tooling is then transported to the press or oven.
The tooling comprises two parts used to create a rubber seal or gasket. The rubber is inserted into the tooling in the vertical orientation, and the top part of the tool then added. The tools are then transferred to the press to create the rubber seal.
This bespoke tool clamp can handle tooling up to 160kg, although higher capacities are available on request.
