Designed for the automotive industry, this Stainless Battery and CCU Lifting Attachment handles batteries and CCUs (Central Computer Units) in the car production line.
The lifting attachment has been designed with a shorter than standard length to access the confined space in the car assembly line.
This versatile attachment features a dual lifting design encompassing battery and CCU lifting, with adjustments to cater for numerous car part variants.
The attachment incorporates a hook arrangement system adjustable to four positions, by means of ergonomic dials positioned on the attachment itself, to cater for the different sized car parts.
In addition, the bespoke attachment can be rotated to the left- or right-hand side and through 360 degrees, as well as adjusting in and out for different reaches. The dials positioned on the attachment can be locked into place to prevent the hook arrangement from moving once the required position is achieved.
The battery handling solution lifts large (60kg) batteries and CCUs and places them into car assemblies in the car production line, reducing operator manual handling, and ensuring safe handling of the car parts into the vehicle without damaging them.
This lifter features special triple front end swivel castors, designed to ensure easy and smooth transport of the lifting machine over the car production line tracks.
The raising and lowering actions of the attachment are made by a powered mechanism which is operated by simple ‘up and down’ buttons that are located ergonomically on the machine’s handlebars, with the options of joystick or remote controls. Ease of operation is further enhanced with a slow start feature that provides the operator with precise and accurate positioning when docking, loading and unloading.
This lifter is entirely suitable for high care, clean room applications. The design offers impressive stability, strength, and durability and together these features combine to provide the transportation of the batteries or CCUs with ease, confidence and complete safety.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
