This bespoke Roll and Drum Handling Platform Attachment was designed for a customer in the food industry with a requirement to lift and tilt rolls and plastic drums.
The rolls or plastic drums are lifted via the platform attachment and then tilted to enable emptying of the contents of the drums.
The platform attachment is equipped with vertical panels to support the load whilst lifting and hold in place while tilting.
The drums or rolls are rotated manually. The platform attachment incorporates a handwheel for the drum rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations, providing easy operation and precise control.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ Lifting Machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
The platform attachment has a lifting capacity of up to 100kg (220lbs).
It is very easy to use which provides a simple and safe action and is entirely suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries and similar hygienic applications.
