This new automated and programmable roll handling solution has been designed to lift and rotate rolls independently and automatically with no manual handling.
The roll handling equipment features programmable automated controls to lift, rotate and accurately place rolls of film or foil. The pre-programmed settings enable the operator to simply press the ‘start’ button to initiate the roll handling procedure.
This robotic unit, equipped with the new electronic system, can be pre-programmed via a connection to a PC. The programmable automated controls can be programmed to run a handling routine to mimic a roll lifting situation. This feature means the bespoke lifter can be used as a demonstration model, repeating lift and rotate cycles.
This lifting solution encompasses a fully powered vertical spindle lifting and rotating attachment. This attachment is fully motorised and provides powered drives for both the roll gripping and release as well as the roll rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations.
The rolls are securely gripped by the core. This mechanism is fitted with a torque limiter so that the clamping rollers do not over or under tighten onto the reel. This feature enables the operator to lift and transport rolls with complete confidence.
The attachments enhanced design features include a greater load capacity, improved strength and durability which provides an easy and safe operation. It is entirely suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
