The fully powered stacker truck with crane arm and heavy duty die block was designed in response to a customer requirement in the adhesives industry to lift tooling from a press for cleaning and tool changing.
The tooling is stored on racks at a height of up to 2.4m. The lifter features a proximity sensor to ensure that the lift function does not exceed the height of 2.4m. The warehouse ceiling is at a height of 2.5m. This safety feature ensures that the crane arm does not reach the ceiling height.
The stacker truck features a fail-safe override system where the operator can override the 2.4m lift height restriction. However, it is necessary to press the override and lift button controls simultaneously, to prevent the operator from inadvertently overriding the pre-set lift height.
The crane arm attachment is mounted onto a fully powered heavy-duty mild steel painted stacker truck with powered lift and propulsion.
The attachment has been designed to provide strength, durability as well as improved wear resistance and enhanced ease of use which provides a simple and safe action.
