A leading food industry manufacturer approached Packline with a challenge: safely and efficiently lifting long, wide rolls of film from the pallet to the processing line. Their existing equipment could not accommodate the increased roll width or the extended reach required for precise positioning.
Packline’s engineering team designed a customised stainless steel roll lifter featuring a vertical spindle attachment with an extended arm. This bespoke solution allows operators to lift rolls vertically, then rotate them smoothly into a horizontal position for accurate loading onto the production line. To ensure maximum stability, the lifter was also engineered with longer, wider legs to support the roll’s shifted centre of gravity.
