The Drum Clamp Attachment with Forward Tipping is designed for the lifting and tipping of heavy steel drums of fluid weighing up to 210 litres.

This heavy-duty forward tipping drum clamp attachment was designed in response to a customer requirement in the chemicals industry to lift and forward rotate 210 litre steel drums or barrels of oil.

The drums are secured by means of an adjustable band clamp to accommodate different sized drums. The clamping attachment features a hinged band, which encloses the drum. The clamp door is fastened to ensure a firm grip on the drum. The band clamp can be adjusted to cater for a variety of drum diameters from 500mm to 600mm. In addition, the band clamp has a lifting capacity of 500kg.

The forward tipping attachment features a geared rotation mechanism to enable controlled pouring of the drum contents.

The lifting solution incorporates adjustable manual clamping, heavy duty geared forward tipping of the drums, with electric lift.

The forward tipping drum clamp attachment is mounted onto a Logitrans ELFS powered lifter with electric lift and manual propulsion.

The Logitrans stacker truck features straddle legs to ensure easy access from each side of the standard euro pallet (800x1200mm) accommodating 2 drums.

These features ensure a quick, easy and simple transfer with minimal operator effort which means that the drums can be handled surely and safely with minimum effort and complete confidence.

The attachment has been designed to provide a high load capacity with great strength and durability as well as enhanced wear resistance. It is very easy to use which provides a simple and safe action.
