The ‘Compac’ lifter with extended frame handles was designed in response to a customer enquiry in the food industry to handle rolls in a confined space.

The longer handle extension allows the operator to gain access to the processing machinery where there is limited space for the lifting machine to reach the roll unload mandrel.

The handle extension enables the operator to maintain visibility of the roll whilst unloading onto the processing machinery in the restricted space.

The frame handle extension features a remote control for easy and precise operation of the rolls.

This lifting frame extension allows for easy manoeuvrability of the lifter into the confined space and ensures safe access to the processing machinery and unwind mandrel.

This lifting solution encompasses a fully powered vertical spindle lifting and rotating attachment. This attachment is fully motorised and provides powered drives for both the roll gripping and release as well as the roll rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations. These drives are operated via a hand-held ‘pendant’ remote control which provides precise and easy operation.

The rolls are securely gripped by the core. This mechanism is fitted with a torque limiter so that the clamping rollers do not over or under tighten onto the reel. This feature enables the operator to lift and transport rolls with complete confidence.

The lifting solution is suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
