This bespoke handling solution was designed in response to a customer requirement in the process technology industry to handle tooling assemblies.

The lifting unit is a standard Packline ‘Compac’ lifter constructed from stainless steel and suitable for clean room environments, such as food and pharmaceutical industries.

The lifting attachment is designed to handle unique tooling fixtures. This attachment consists of a platform construction designed to rotate 360 degrees. The lifting solution is designed to lift assemblies into place in a specialist production line. The rotating platform attachment loads the tooling into the assembly on the production line.

The upper surface of the attachment is mounted on a spring-loaded base to allow some misalignment and provide positive pressure when engaged with the equipment being handled.

The lifter features adjustable photocells designed to detect when a specific height position is reached. The two optical sensors enable the machine to stop when the required height is reached. The two sensors allow the operator to switch between the two desired heights depending on the production line load height requirement.

In addition, an optional ‘clam box’ alignment tool is designed to clamp around the loading point of the production line. This alignment tool features a safety position stop to prevent operator and machine contact. This safety tool is available in different sizes to suit different processing machinery loading points.

This lifter has lower profile legs for easy access to the production line.

The tool holding attachment has a lift capacity of 100kg.

This lifting equipment is very easy to use which provides a simple and safe action and is suitable for the pharmaceutical and food industries and similar hygienic applications.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
