The vertical spindle attachment with rollers and pin stop retainer was designed to lift heavy reels (230kg) in the horizontal and transport them to the packaging machinery.

The rolls are lifted by their core from the pallet or racking in the horizontal position only as no rotation was required. The rolls are then transported horizontally to the processing machinery.

The vertical spindle attachment is equipped with rollers to assist the operator to transfer the heavy rolls from the lifting attachment to the mandrel on the packaging machine. This reduces the requirement for operator manual handling.

A ‘pin-stop’ retainer mechanism ensures that the rolls remain safely on the attachment whilst the machine is being manoeuvred between the storage racking and machinery.

This Single Spindle is suitable for handling heavy reels of film and paper.

The attachment has a maximum capacity of up to 230kg (507lbs), however higher rated models may be available on request.
