Vessel Trolley and Lifting Arrangement

To provide our customer with a method of handling and transporting expensive awkward shaped vessels weighing 130kg and approximately 2 meters long the company produced a purpose designed trolley and lifting arrangement. The company's stainless steel Compac lifting machine and a bespoke clamp attachment was used to lift, rotate and position the vessel onto the purpose designed stainless steel transportation trolley.

In order to lift the Vessel a special collar was designed to fit securely around the vessels profile. The collar was then gripped by the clamp attachment enabling the vessel to be lifted and rotated by the Compac ready for positioning onto the trolley. The stainless steel Trolley was designed with rubber clad profiled support arms to match the vessels contour. This provided both accurate secure location and protection against damage during transportation.
