New to Packline is the roll handling equipment with side-loading cradle attachment. This new concept is ideal in situations where access to the packaging machinery is restricted. Manufactured from stainless steel, the range of reel handling equipment from Packline is designed for lifting and handling rolls or reels of film, foil or packaging material, suitable for the food, drinks, medical and pharmaceutical industries.
• The side loading cradle attachment is suitable for handling lightweight reels or rolls of packaging material to a capacity of 30kg. Higher capacity reels or rolls can be handling by Packline’s bespoke handling equipment.
• The reel or roll of material is loaded onto the sideways facing cradle attachment. This is designed for situations where there is limited or no access to the packaging machinery from the end of the line.
• This roll handling equipment is suitable for side-loading the reels or rolls of packaging material midway down the packaging processing line.
This concept was originally designed for a pharmaceutical company that required access, in a restricted space, to the packaging processing line. The small footprint of the reel handling equipment, together with the new side-loading cradle attachment, enabled the reels or rolls of packaging material to be loaded onto the packaging line in a narrow and restricted space.
