Heavy Duty Forward Tipping Clamp

This Clamp from Packline offers Heavy Duty Forward Tipping Geared Rotation.  Unlike the manual forward tipping option this design provides the operator with full control when tipping the barrel forwards.  The interlocking worm and wheel gearbox will hold the load at any given angle allowing for pouring of liquids for example.

The rotation takes place by rotating the front hand wheel. The high gear ratio and larger handle diameter means that the effort required is significantly reduced making this a great option for any operator.  This particular application required a 250ltr oil drum to be picked up from the floor and rotated via 90 degrees in a controlled manner as the drums could be filled with up to 250kg inside.

The barrel pads are lined with rubber to ensure a secure grip.  Depending on the item being lifted greater clamping torque can be provided to eliminate telescoping or slipping as the lifting and rotation takes place.
