Developed for use by Rolls-Royce Motor Company on their vehicle production line.   Using the companies Compac stainless steel mobile lifter as the base design. The Wiring Harness Lifter was designed to lift and position bagged harness kits weighing 45kg into the vehicles chassis ready for assembly by production staff   The Harness Lifter incorporated a lockable swinging arm arrangement to assist operators site the harness in the correct position within the vehicle   The Compac main chassis and attachment where designed to protect the vehicles bodywork against damage during use by incorporating  padded handle bars and rubberised buffers mounted the Compac's frame.   The Compac machine was chosen for its small foot print, ease of use and high degree of manoeuvrability.
