Manufactured to meet the customers specific needs the Dual Rotation Reel Lifter has both Side and Forward Rotation, designed to lift reels of packaging material from storage and position onto the companies production machinery.

The Reels of packaging film needed to be lifted by gripping the outside diameter leaving the reels core free and then presented to the machines mandrel in a position that was horizontal and forward facing.

To facilitate this Dual Rotation Reel Lifter was designed with rotating gripper pad assembles as part of the attachments Clamping mechanism.

This meant that once the reel had been securely clamped and lifted clear from storage the gripper pad assembly could be swivelled by releasing the index pin and the reel rotated forward through 90° to the preset stop.

Once fully rotated the Index pin is re-engaged to secure the assembly in position.

The Dual Rotation Reel Lifter design also enables the Reel to rotate sideways through 360°
